The Ohio Physicians Health Program (OPHP) is seeking an experienced counselor to serve as a Case Manager. The position reports directly to the Clinical Director and may require some travel throughout Ohio. The Case Manager provides monitoring, support, and recovery documentation services for healthcare professionals enrolled in OPHP's Monitoring & Advocacy Program. Responsibilities include: overseeing participant compliance through appropriate communication, performing field visits with program participants, completing participant monitoring duties, interpreting monitoring data, outside evaluations, and treatment plans, and performing other duties to support the health and well-being of participants.
The ideal candidate should hold a professional counselor license (PC or higher) and chemical dependency counseling certification (LCDC II or higher preferred). Master's Degree in counseling preferred. Candidate must have experience as a counselor for individuals with substance use disorders and/or mental health disorders, counseling with professional populations preferred. Must have the ability to communicate well, build relationships, and work with individuals who may exhibit strong personalities. Some travel may be required so candidates must have a valid unrestricted driver's license. Strong organizational skills and computer skills will further define the ideal candidate.
