Jeffrey L. Hunter, MSc, DC, D.O., FASFP, FACHE

Dr. Jeffrey Hunter joined the OhioPHP Board of Directors in 2018. He is the Vice-President, Medical Director for Concerto Health, a clinical professor at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and an adjunct assistant professor at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Hunter is a board-certified family physician with a special interest in mental health. He is the co-chair of the Psychiatry and Treatment Subcommittee of the Ohio Attorney General’s Criminal Justice and Mental Illness Task Force. He has also been a sworn law enforcement officer for over 20 years which has provided a unique insight into individuals with substance use and mental health disorders both as a physician and a police officer.
